The past few weeks have been hard for you. Sleeping rough and eating trail rations has taken its toll, wearying you in both body and soul. And over the last day or so, this damned fog has chilled you to the bone. It was with some relief that you spotted the welcoming glow of a wayside inn, looming up out of the fog ahead.
The sign creaks in the wind that has blown up suddenly out of nowhere. The pale last light of day enables you to read the faded lettering; "The Cuckoo's Nest". The door stands slightly ajar, allowing the scent of good food and the sound of voices and laughter to drift into the night. Enter, weary traveller...
This is where you can find The Cuckoo's Nest rules system. The rules are divided into two parts: the general rules and instructions of how we play the game and how to make up a character; and the magic rules, which you should refer to if you have either Aura or magic weapons. Both sets of rules can be downloaded as Adobe Acrobat (pdf) files, as can the standard Character Sheet.
If you are new to the system, please look at the character archetypes at the back of the rules, as this will give you a good idea of how to use the system. And remember - you can only gain a MAXIMUM of 5 points from flaws.
